Cellulite, on the other hand, is unevenly distributed fatty tissue, which is most often accentuated on the thighs or abdomen. When the skin is squeezed, it becomes wrinkled like an orange peel. Cellulite can appear in women who shy away from a healthy lifestyle, as well as those who are overweight or obese. Fortunately, such an aesthetic defect can be easily eliminated with the help of home methods.

The causes of cellulite are:

  • sedentary lifestyle,
  • problems with excess weight or obesity,
  • taking certain medications, including hormone therapy,
  • water retention in the body,
  • a diet high in fats and carbohydrates

Cellulite – how to get rid of orange peel?

There are two types of cellulite:

  • water – soft,
  • fatty – hard.

The first one is associated with retained water in the body. It can be the result of taking hormonal pills or drinking too little water during the day. In order to fight it, it is not enough to just diet and do some sport. It is worth taking diuretic supplements with horsetail, elderberry or juniper berries. Drinking mineralized water at even intervals is very helpful. This will greatly increase your chances of smoothing out your skin, as well as improving its nutrition and hydration.

When it comes to hard cellulite, it is much more difficult to combat. The best way to do this will be to exercise and get rid of simple carbohydrates and excess fat from your diet. Cellulite most often appears on the buttocks, thighs, and abdomen, and its control depends on the location of the orange peel.

You can easily find out what type of cellulite you have. When you squeeze the skin under your buttocks or on your thighs, look at how it behaves under pressure. If it is white and your fingers dig into it, you are dealing with water cellulite. On the other hand, when the skin becomes visibly wrinkled and hard – then you know it’s fat cellulite.

Cellulite on thighs

Many women complain of wrinkled skin in this exact area. Cellulite on the thighs can be a real nightmare, but it is a part of the body where it is quite easy to perform various massages and firming treatments.

The ideal way to cellulite on thighs is to move. Jumping, walking, climbing stairs or doing planks will make the lymph flow faster and reduce the amount of fat. Cellulite on the abdomen

Cellulite on the abdomen is a sign that your diet is rich in processed fast food. It is possible that you eat too little fiber, so you should change your diet to one rich in fresh vegetables and fruits. Check whether your clothes are not putting too much pressure on your waist. Poor blood flow to the tissues can cause cellulite on the abdomen.

Not all cosmetology treatments can be performed on the abdomen. Lipolaser is recommended, which greatly increases the density of the skin, thus improving its condition and reducing the appearance of cellulite. Also extremely helpful are treatments using a roller – a massager with special tabs, which has a firming effect on the skin of the abdomen.
