Winter is just a few months away, and warm clothes and boots are increasingly appearing on store shelves. So it is a great time to choose winter shoes. We suggest which 3 models are worth having in your closet.

Boots

The most classic, yet extremely stylish footwear for winter are boots. They keep you really warm and you can be sure to look good. However, there are many different types and models of boots in stores. So which boots to choose? The best choice will be black, but made of material resistant to typical winter dirt such as dirty snow and salt on the streets. Over-the-knee boots have been dominating the streets for a few years now and it’s worth buying them this year as well. However, choose heavier ones, resembling slightly extended slippers. They will add character and spice to your outfits.

Another good choice are low-heeled, pointed boots. They will be a perfect complement to more elegant styling. Black snakeskin pattern looks great as well. On many catwalks of the autumn/winter 2021/2022 collections appeared also very high boots with a creased upper. This is what fashion houses call slouchy boots. Remember, however, that boots do not go with sporty clothes. Don’t match them with a sports jacket and sweatshirt – they will look much better with a coat or a simple one-coloured down jacket and a sweater. Boots are also a great solution if you’re a fan of dresses and don’t want to freeze in the cold 🙂

Snow boots

A more sporty model of winter boots that you will find useful are women’s snow boots. These are boots, in which you will be exceptionally warm, and they suit both everyday outfits and more sporty ones. You can wear them both with a coat and with a sports jacket. Most of the snow boots are also insulated from the inside with sheepskin, which makes these boots extremely soft and comfortable. They also have a stable and sturdy bottom, so you can avoid slipping on the sidewalk. So, this is the perfect winter footwear for every day, especially when the temperature drops quite a bit below zero and snow and ice are lining the streets. However, remember to choose a model made of material resistant to moisture and salt stains – so avoid winter shoes made of suede, which you will have to clean after every outing.

Classic boots

Every woman’s closet should also include classic boots. They are elegant, but at the same time universal and fit to most winter stylizations. They will prove perfect when winter is not so severe and in the so called transition period. However, what kind of boots to choose, so that they are in line with the current trends? First of all, platforms. They are a nod to the ’00s, somewhat inspired by Bratz dolls and extremely glamorous. They appeared for example in the winter collection of Versace. Boots in this style will make you look incredibly stylish and gain a few centimeters. The advantage of platforms is also their high stability, so you do not have to worry about your ankles. Another model you must have in your winter closet are combat boots, or heavy boots in the style of those from Dr. Martens. These boots are perfectly adapted to every type of ground and capricious weather conditions.
